In the realm of sound, silence takes on a unique character. It possesses a distinct quality that varies from place to place, a quality that I aim to capture through my humble attempts at field recording. Armed with nothing but my trusty iPhone microphone, I strive to capture the essence of silence, to make it sound like the silence we experience as humans.
Even with the aid of Reaper, my efforts to clean up the noise often result in the removal of much of the sound. I am but an amateur in this pursuit, and any tips or suggestions for equipment or technical clean-up hacks would be greatly appreciated.
